Dragon Star Precision Ind. Co., LTD. is located in Shalu, Taichung, with over 30 years of experience in Taichung stamping and forging mold design and manufacturing. Dragon Star Precision Ind. Co., LTD. started out with wire-cut EDM, specializing in ultra-high-precision automotive mold machining, and later added grinding, milling, turning, and other CNC equipment, becoming a mold manufacturer with an exceptionally high in-house production rate.

In recent years, we expanded with Taichung Port Related Industrial Park Plant 1 and Plant 2 in the Guanlian Industrial Park, adding stamping and cold forging processes and moving toward a complete one-stop service. From a single idea or sketch, we can help bring your product to commercialization.

One-Stop Service

Dragon Star owns a full range of processing machinery and specializes in one-stop service — integrating front-end product prototyping, mid-stage mold design and manufacturing, and back-end mass production and surface treatment, covering every stage of stamping and forging manufacturing. This greatly shortens process time and eliminates the layered costs of outsourcing, forming a complete stamping and forging manufacturing service.

Mold Development & Manufacturing

Customer product development starts at the design stage. Dragon Star provides professional assessments and reasonable solutions to help customers achieve stable, reliable production processes. We have extensive experience with single-station dies, progressive dies, and robotic-arm transfer dies. Since molds are fully manufactured in-house, we can tightly control costs and pass competitive pricing on to customers, while offering high-quality, fast delivery and excellent after-sales maintenance.

Bulk Purchasing to Lower Material Costs

We keep a standing inventory of over 20 metric tons of alloy tool steel, including more than 12,000 kg of Japanese high-speed steel and powder high-speed steel. We produce over 70,000 punches and bushings and more than 3,000 tungsten carbide punches every year. Round-the-clock mass production effectively lowers costs, letting us offer customers the best possible prices — for the same quality, our pricing is the most competitive.

Circular Economy & Low-Carbon Production

Taichung Port Related Industrial Park Plant 1, Plant 2, and the Shalu facility are all equipped with solar power systems. We purchase recycled tungsten steel end mills in bulk for roughing operations, and repurpose worn mills into chamfer cutters and special R-cutters for continued use. Special steel scrap from large tube-cutter machining is reused as material for wire-cut punches and forging molds.
